Book Study

We are excited to announce our new Book Study selection for 2024-2025 is Jo Boaler's "Math-ish: Finding Creativity, Diversity, and Meaning in Mathematics".

​

Join us as we read and discuss Math-ish, and consider the seven principles that can reframe our relationship with mathematics to find joy, understanding, and diversity in mathematics.

​

All of our meetings will be hosted by Math Project Director, Deb Stetson and Dr. Topaz Wiscons, via Zoom.

Units are optional, $120 for 1.5 units.

The Mathematics Project at Sacramento State is a professional home for teachers to hone the craft of teaching embracing every student's brilliant potential and fostering every student's thinking, conjecturing, and reasoning.  We work to create access and provide support for high level mathematics for ALL students.
